The Essentials

1. The Title(s): You need the physical paper title. If it’s a double-wide, you need both titles.
2. Bill of Sale: A simple notarized document transferring ownership.
3. DR-219 Form: Required by the tax collector for sales tax.
4. Tax Receipts: Proof that current property taxes are paid.

Common Hang-ups

• “And/Or”: If owners are listed with “AND”, both must sign.
• Lost Titles: You must file Form 82101 and pay about $75 to get a replacement before you can sell.
